I am a Sydney mother to two gorgeous, active boys – Mr funny bunny is now 6yr and Mr cheeky monkey is 5yr...they were 3 and 2yrs when I started writing for ParraParents! We are out every day, rain or shine, and love being park explorers, construction chasers, experimenters, book lovers, Pinterest testers, playgroup organisers, singers, builders, treasure hunters, musicians, cooks, gardeners, bush walkers, YouTube watchers, helpers and lots more.

  1. just thinking about it makes me
relax so if i get a kid free day…i will take extra few hours in bed,go to the salon cuz its been a year, watch a movie cuz its been 2 yrs last one was before i had my first child , quite dinner with my husband, in between listen to current my age type of music…what a day

  2. I loce watching watching movies and TV shows while enjoy some snacks and ice cream. I love quiet time to myself, sometimes when kids are asleep I read book or lie down to have peace of mind. It’s very important.

  3. I like be to work. Sad I know but I’m a cake decorator and have turned my hobby into my job. In saying that I would love a really long massage.

  4. I have a fantasy list of all
the things I want to do kid free for example (but not limited to) sleep-in, peacefully pee, not share my food or read something other than Spot the Dog. In reality when I actually do get kid-free time I try not to go overboard on the housework (so tempting but a losing battle) enjoy a hot cuppa and catch up on my latest tv drama. Chocolate may be involved!

  5. Even though I’m so tired, I love going for a run. It feels good to just get out of the house and clear my mind. If I can sneak in an extra long, hot shower when I come back, bonus!! That’s about the extent of my pampering!! ?

  6. Read if kid free time is during a nap or sleep 🙂

If it’s proper parents-have-the-baby kid free time…PART-AYY!! Which around here is usually lunch/dinner and a movie (yes we are ragers)

  7. Whenever I get free time it’s either head out for a massage or go for a walk and sit and have a Hot cup of coffee!

  8. I would wake up late in the morning and do some house cleaning, and cook some different styles of food for lunch and dinner. This won’t take more than 1hrs anyway. Then I Will enjoy the day at home relaxing peacefully.Of course would like to invite few of my friends for dinner and have a small get together at home only at evening so that I can sleep early…

  9. Kid free time would involve: legs up on coffee table, bollywood music on or any random movie channel on… and no thinking and fb on my phone ☺️And then I know i will be thinking what are my kids doing?
