    Join the fun and celebrate Lunar New Year at Cumberland in the Auburn Central Forecourt on 16 February 2019. This lively, family friendly festival has a program jam-packed with free entertainment, traditional dance and music, lion performance, street food markets and crafts and activities for everyone to enjoy.
    • When: Saturday 16 February 2019 from 5pm to 9pm
    • Where: Auburn Central Forecourt, Corner Queen Street and Harrow Road, Auburn
    • How much: Free entry with a range of reasonably priced food stalls.

    Main Stage

    Kicking off in the late afternoon, the main stage will showcase the very best in traditional dance and music entertainment including:

    • Spectacular lion dance with acrobatics
    • Sydney KPOP superstars
    • Sichuan opera face changing show

    Cultural Entertainment

    • Shadow puppet theatre telling the story for the Chinese horoscope
    • Asian astrologer
    • Chinese vegetable carving
    • crafts and activities for the kids

    Food Street Market

    • Including Asian Food trucks
    • Local Asian restaurants including Bubble Tea and 5 Star Chicken
