    Hawkesbury City Council is proudly presenting an exciting new community event as part of Local Government Week. The inaugural Hawkesbury Fest is a free, family-friendly event, which will take over Governor Phillip Park on Sunday 29th July from 11am to 3pm.

    Enjoy a jam-packed day of interactive activities, entertainment and fun for the kids. Look forward to bustling food stalls, a pop-up library, the Hawkesbury Regional Museum and Gallery display, the Hawkesbury Animal Shelter dog competitions and well being activities from the YMCA and Oasis Centre. Plus, free face painting, craft activities and jumping castles.

    The brand new playground at Governor Phillip Park will also be officially opened by the Mayor. As part of the festivities, children can create an art piece that will be hung around the fence line.
