Cafe 2773 is one of the most popular cafes for families in the Blue Mountains region and you don’t even need to drive an hour to get there. Glenbrook is in the lower Blue Mountains and this lovely cafe is only a 30 minute drive from Parramatta City Centre.
Good Food, Cute Playground, Adorable Farm Animals
We went midweek, and got there just before midday. By the time 12:30pm hit, the place was pretty packed. You’ll likely struggle to find nearby parking or a table on the weekends. There’s ample space to have a picnic though.
When we arrived, we chose to sit outside near the playground. The children ran to the playgound, climbed into the cubby and fought over the slide. The great thing is, if you are sitting outside you’ll be able to keep an eye on your children easily.

We then noticed the piglet and mummy pig as well as some chickens further down from the playground. Oh the joy on the kids faces, they were running between the playground and the animals. The animals are behind a fence so whilst the kids can see them they can’t actually go and pat them.

The apple juice on the kid’s menu is freshly squeezed and the chicken nuggets are amazing. I know this because our kids weren’t interested in the food at all. They wouldn’t leave the play area. I managed to feed them a nugget each!

My husband and I had coffee and it tasted pretty good. They use Organic Fair Trade coffee which is roasted in-house daily. The food is locally sourced where possible.
You can check out their website to view their menu, see their gallery and find out more.
If you are taking relatives to see the 3 sisters with your kids in tow then I highly recommend you stop by on your way, or your way back to check out this place. It is also a great place to go if you are checking out parks around the area, going to Featherdale Wildlife Park or just feel like going for a 30 min drive. If you are staying in Leura or further into the mountains, you’ll find this cafe is actually further to your holiday destination than home! Visit when you are heading into the blue mountains or leaving your holiday.
I look forward to visiting again and trying things from the adult menu. The pictures on their website look AMAZING.
