Here is a delicious Baba Ganoush recipe.
- 2 Egpplants
- 2 Cloves of Garlic, crushed
- 3 tablespoons of Tahini (Sesame Paste)
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 lemon
Pierce deep holes into the eggplant using a knife. Make sure you go all around the eggplant .
Cook the eggplant on the barbeque until it is charred. It might take around 15 mins. Make sure you keep turning it.
Let it cool down to a warm temperature.
Run it under water and peel the eggplant (black part). If the flesh falls off just spoon the eggplant out.
Add the crushed garlic to the eggplant. Use the back of a spoon to mash the garlic and eggplant together.
Add 3 tablespoons of tahini (sesame paste), half a teaspoon of salt and the juice of 1 lemon. Stir it properly. Sometimes it becomes thick in which case add 2 tablespoons of water.
Stir until all blended
Add lemon juice and salt if needed after tasting.
