We first visited Bayview Park back in March and quickly developed a crush. I mean look at the views out over Parramatta River!
Plus, the ferry wharf is quaint, there is a sandy beach, shallow water, on-site parking, toilets, bbqs, fun playground, big trees to climb and a lovely path along the river.
And it recently got even better with the addition of shade sails over the playground!
Bayview Park was also recently announced as one of three spots along Parramatta River where we will be able to swim by 2025!
The playground is near the parking and has a sand ground. There is a fun climbing frame, which was the main attraction for my boys.
Plus a small play gym with a slide, rockers and swings.
At the top of the playground are some picnic shelters, BBQS and toilets. And on the south side, there is a large grassed area and some beautiful and very large trees.
In front of the playground, along the foreshore, is a path and it is a lovely spot to walk. Plus along the way is exercise equipment.
Finding Bayview Park
Bayview Park is at the end of Burwood Road in Concord. It overlooks Parramatta River and across to Abbotsford. There is on-site parking buses also stop there. We enjoy catching the Putney Punt across to get to the park on weekends.
