Belmore Park is on Pennant Hills Road, near where it ends at Church Street in North Parramatta. It’s on the other side of Castle Street from Saint Patricks Cemetery.
Within Belmore Park there is a sports field (known as Richie Benaud Oval) and playground. While there are lots of parking spots around, it’s next to impossible to find a vacant one close by.
The playground is nestled under the trees so enjoys natural shade over some of the play equipment. It’s not fenced and it set back from the road, but it’s near Pennant Hills Road which is busy. Under the play equipment is synthetic grass and then bark around it.
Within the playground, you will find:
- rockers
- large climbing play gym, with slides, bridges, climbing walls and shop
- swings
Overlooking the playground is a gazebo with tables. There is a toilet block but they seem to only be open when there is a sports game on.
Finding Belmore Park
