The upgrade of the playground at Bingara Park was completed late December 2018. This park has some nice mature trees, which thankfully were left in. And they should provide shade throughout the day.
Within the new playground, which all sits at the top of the small reserve, you’ll find the same climbing play gym that has been installed at all the other nearby playground upgrades.
Plus swings, merry-go-round, rocker and some log stepping stones. We love that Council is putting in more bucket sits and the ones that have wide leg holes so babies through to preschoolers can use them.
There are also two park benches and we believe a bubbler is going in.
And this is what the old playground looked like for comparison. My boys dubbed it the submarine playground, with the ocean theme and tunnels.
