Bretby Park – Neighbourhood Playground | Rydalmere

Bretby Park

Bretby ParkI was a bit obsessed with finding fenced playgrounds about a year ago and not sure how I missed the one at Bretby Park!

The key thing to keep in mind with this ‘fenced’ playground is that it is not gated. There is a passage opening – hard to explain – but the fence overlaps on one side. Hopefully the pic below makes it easier to understand. You enter between two fence walls.

Bretby Park

This small playground, with a synthetic grass ground, has:

  • three swings, including one toddler seat
  • Kangaroo rocker
  • abacus
  • climbing play gym, with a fire pole, slide, bridge and cubby house
  • climbing rope wall

Around the inside of the fence, there is a wooden stepped wall, which my boys enjoyed walking on. There is also a few park benches to sit on.

Outside the fenced playground, there is a sloped grassed area.
