Burwood Park is a pleasantly surprising oasis right near Westfields and Burwood train station. The large park has a lot to offer with a cafe in the grounds, fenced and shaded playground, duck pond, picnic facilities, chess board and rotunda. And there is even a mobile playvan that visits on Thursday mornings during school term.
This wonderful medium sized playground is best suited to kids ages 2-8yrs. It is fenced, shaded and within sight of the new The Picnic Burwood cafe, which everyone raves about.
Within the large Burwood Park, there are toilets, pond, BBQ and picnic facilities. There is also a War Memorial Arch, Sandakan Memorial, tennis courts, cricket pitch, outdoor chess board and rotunda.
