George Gollan Reserve is a lovely, large bushy park. With hills and lots of room for the kids to wander. Plus, it now has a brand NEW playground!
The playground is along Phillip Street, at about the mid way point in the park. It’s only a small sized playground but it still has a good variety of play equipment.
With the upgrade of the playground, all the play equipment is now in one spot. Plus, there’s now a picnic table, seats and basketball hoop.
The new swing set has three swings, including a birds nest seat. Just a shame there isn’t a baby swing seat.
The climbing play gym has a little bit of everything, with a slide, shop, rock walls, spider rope wall and stepping ropes.
