Located on Hughes Avenue, between Swane Street and Hope Street, is a lovely local playground with a cafe nearby. On one side, is a large grassy area to run around. Then there is play equipment in the middle. And on the other side, there is lots of trees and plants. My children loved exploring under the trees – lots of crunchy leaves to walk on and insects to spot on the plants. Although the playground isn’t fenced, it is set far enough back from the road and is located in a quiet street.
There is bark on the ground of the playground and a concrete path loops around it, good for the bike and scooter lovers. The playground has one bench seat to rest on and has a rubbish bin.

Hughes Avenue Reserve, is as the name suggests, on Hughes Avenue, which is off Victoria Road behind the Pfizer Australia offices. There is street parking and the park is walking distance from Victoria Road and the buses that run along it.
