We often read about the large and medium size playgrounds that tend to get quite busy. I’d like to tell you about a small playground my family stumbled upon whilst stalking properties listed for sale, Jenkins Reserve. This one has been a local secret for quite some time.

Jenkins Reserve is a cute little playground on Jenkins St, Dundas. Really, it is on the edge of Ermington, a few streets away from the Bartlett St shops. The playground is set on top of wood chips, so make sure your children are wearing closed toe shoes.

The playground consists of;

  • a slide
  • monkey bars
  • jungle gym
  • 2 swings (one for babies)
  • a see-saw

This is a perfect playground if you are looking for a short play session in a playground that isn’t crowded. You’ll find a bin, a bench to sit on, a playground and that’s about it. There aren’t any barbeque facilities, bathrooms, shelters and so forth.

For the locals of Jenkins St, sorry for letting the world know about your secret playground 😉
