Jubilee Park in Parramatta CBD was upgraded in late 2016. It is a lovely oasis in the Parramatta CBD, with open green space, trees to climb, nature based play playground and a path to walk/ ride on.
Playground
The playground is at the Jubilee Lane end of the park.
The mostly wooden play equipment is best suited to kids 2-6yrs and includes:
- a water pump and basins
- wood stumps
- merry-go-round
- climbing play gym with slide and tunnel
- see saw
- swings.
Plus there is a maze and a creek bed with a little bridge next to the playground.
Unfortunately there isn’t any shade over the play equipment but there is some natural shade from the surrounding trees and buildings. In summer, it is best to visit in the morning or afternoon. And in winter, remember that there is a water pump there – my boys can’t resist no matter the weather.
