These large fenced playgrounds are for kids of all abilities and are part of the Everyone Can Play initiative. Plus are some of the best playgrounds in Sydney!

The highlight of Livvi’s Place Elara for us is the dinky track – a purpose built scooter/ bike track – within the fenced playground. There is only one other scooter/ bike track within a fenced playground in Sydney – at Ryde Park. The one at Livvi’s Place Elara has traffic lights signs, zebra crossings, round abouts and a waving ramp. Plus a cool petrol station and bike racks.

We also really like that it has a water playground, flying fox, merry go round, big swing and slide.

The water playground consists of a number of water jets spouting up from the ground. The area is covered with shade sails. And thankfully the seating is under the shade as well! There is a button on the ground that you press to turn the water on.

Not to mention the musical instruments, talking tubes and spinning chair were a hit with my preschooler.

And there’s also a mound slide, spinning disk, in-ground trampolines, sway fun and hammocks.

There is shade over the water splash area, bottom of the metal slides and picnic tables. But not over much else until the trees grow. So fortunately the playground is opening in Autumn. And the trees will have a little time to grow before the hot summer returns! But it will be hard to enjoy most of this playground in heat of summer for a while – except the water play area.

Within the fenced playground, there is a dual BBQ, picnic tables and seats. Plus a large toilet block just outside the playground.

Just outside the fenced playground, on the other side of one of the carparks, is a basketball court, more hammocks and skate rails. Plus cricket nets and a sports field.

Livvi’s Place Elara ticks a lot of boxes! And is particularly great for 3 to 8yr olds.
