It was hard to find the name for this reserve at first. And we only found out about Lockyer Reserve thanks to Parramatta Rocks. It runs between Flinders and Stevens Streets in Ermington and it long and narrow.
The playground is set back a good distance from the road. There is natural shade at some times during the day and the ground is synthetic grass.
The play equipment consists of:
- monkey bars
- steering wheels
- suspended bridge
- climbing walls
There are park benches next to the playground. And LOTS of grassed to run around on. Plus a path leading from Flinders Street up and around the playground that is good to ride on.
Finding Lockyer Reserve
Lockyer Reserve goes from Flinders Street to Stevens Street, near Kissing Point Road. The playground is best accessed from Flinders Street, where you will find street parking. And buses run along Kissing Point Road.
