Pinetree ParkThe drawcard of Pinetree Park is definitely the digger in the playground! Well that and there is a huge amount of green space for simple picnics and to kick a ball around.

The playground at Pinetree Park has been upgraded as part of the NSW Gov’t Stronger Communities Fund. And re-opened mid-September 2018. We are very happy to report that the digger and sand pit have stayed!

The new playground is covered in natural shade in the afternoon, but will be in full sun in the morning.

The new playground seems to have about the same footprint size, but has more play equipment fitted in.

There’s now:

  • three swings, including a toddler and birds nest seat
  • climbing play gym, with slide and rope wall
  • sandpit with a digger

Aside from the playground, there is a large grassed area with lots of trees. So Pinetree Park is nice for walks, nature play, flying kites and running around. Keep in mind though that there are no toilets or picnic facilities.
