When I mention Prospect Reservoir, not many people even know it exists let alone have been there. But interestingly whenever we’ve been, it’s full of families enjoying a picnic and celebrating birthdays. Obviously it’s a well know secret to some!
Here are some photos of the two playgrounds, picnic areas and reservoir while we write up a more detailed review of Prospect Reservoir.
Finding Prospect Reservoir
You access Prospect Reservoir via William Lawson Drive, not far from Prospect Highway and the M4. There are two main picnic areas, each with toilets and a playground. The first is Andrew Campbell Reserve and is on the right not long after turning onto William Lawson Drive. The other area is at the back, past the reservoir. Both have carparks.
