Picture Collage

Creating a picture collage from old magazines is a very easy activity to prepare and do. And it should keep your little ones engrossed for a while. I know my kids were happily entertained for a good 30mins.

What you will need:

  • Old magazines
  • Glue
  • Paper
  • Scissors

What to do:

  • Just tear/ cut out pictures from magazines and glue onto paper.

I very rarely buy magazines nowadays but had a few of the free cooking ones from Woolworths lying around. We spent a far bit of time looking through them – with the kids naming the food they saw and playing find the ??. Mr 3.5 and Mr 2 then tore out pictures. It was at this point Mr 2 lost interest, and Mr 3.5 glued the pictures while I cut around them with the zig zag scissors – which aren’t leftie friendly unfortunately.
