Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 situation across Greater Sydney, City of Parramatta Council have decided to postpone their upcoming Summer Nights event program.
The health and safety of the community is their number one priority and with the current concerns around COVID-19, it was decided that the events could not proceed as planned. They are closely monitoring the situation and hope to be able to deliver this exciting program and welcome people back into the City in the not-too-distant future.
Please stay tuned for announcement of new dates. All existing ticket holders will be issued a refund.
While the usual great Parramatta NYE and Australia Day celebrations can’t go ahead, we’re getting 20 nights of (covid safe) entertainment across 4 venues instead! Parramatta Summer Nights runs from 7th to 26th January and features an open-air cinema, rooftop concerts, roller skating discos, jazz music, food stalls, headline acts (including The Veronicas, Jon Stevens, Kingswood, Australian Rock Collective) and more.
“Through this exciting summer event, we look forward to welcoming people back into our City in a safe and managed way, while also helping support our many local businesses who have had a particularly difficult year.” ~ City of Parramatta Lord Mayor Cr Bob Dwyer
Summer Nights takes places across four iconic locations in Parramatta: Parramatta Park, Prince Alfred Square, Eat Street Carpark rooftop and Parramatta Square. Events range in price from free to $30 and you need to book tickets for most.
