Sportsbliss has now become Tempus Sports. Unfortunately they will no longer be providing soft play sessions as of Jan 2017.

Sportsbliss is an indoor sports centre that transforms one of its courts into a soft play space during the day for kids under 6.

This place helped keep me sane over the last two years! We moved to the Parramatta area in winter a few years ago. At the time, I was about to have our 2nd child and already had an active 17month boy who needed to get out of the house every day. For $5 we could spend a few hours here running around and playing, usually with bub asleep in the carrier, in a contained space with seating, food and hot drinks available…..what more could a mum of two little ones want! To top it off, the staff have always been friendly and very helpful. It is definitely still our favourite way to spend the morning on a rainy day.

The set up at Sportsbliss varies each day but generally there is a jumping castle, lots of ride on cars, foam blocks, cubby houses, something to climb on. If it’s busy, you can usually kids and parents kicking balls around in at least one of the two other courts as well. It doesn’t have the big climbing structures like indoor play centres but I like that – they can be hard on your knees and back as an adult when you need to retrieve your kids 😉

The layout at Sportsbliss is great as you can keep an eye on the kids while enjoying a coffee, with the seating and cafe in the middle (see photos for the cafe menu). The other end of the soft play area has a large window so there is lots of natural light which is nice. Keep in mind that it is basically a large shed so it can get cold in winter and hot in summer.

The hours of operation vary slightly each day but generally they are open from 8am to midday – visit their Facebook page for specific details as they also change for one off events.

The prices are very reasonable, particularly compared to the purpose built indoor play centres but then again Sportsbliss doesn’t have all the bells and whistles that they have…..with younger kids though, I don’t think these are important and my 3yr and 2yr boys are very happy here for a few hours.

Under 12 months is free, 1-2.5yrs is $5 and 2.5-6yrs is $10. They have a Groupon deal at the moment which further reduces the price but it ends at the end of July.
