Australiana Pioneer Village | Wilberforce@ Australian Pioneer Village
Apr 5 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Australiana Pioneer Village | Wilberforce @ Australian Pioneer Village | Wilberforce | New South Wales | Australia

The Australiana Pioneer Village will absorb you into the atmosphere and activities of life over 200 years ago. Come and visit this slower lifestyle. Read more about our recent visit here.

The Australiana Pioneer Village is a true monument to the pioneering days that bred within us, the spirit of courage and faith in ourselves and our country. The land on which Australiana Pioneer Village is situated was farmland recognised as essential to the survival of colonial New South Wales being one of the earliest grants made in Australia. Due to Bill McLachlan’s vision and The Friends of the Australiana Pioneer Village, the Village has been preserved for our future generations, an almost forgotten era. In 2004 the Village buildings were gazetted for listing on the NSW Heritage register which was granted.  The buildings will forever now be protected.

There are a range of activities to do while visiting the village, including the miniature trains ($3 per ride for 3yrs+), watching the blacksmith working, going on a horse and carriage ride ($4 per person) and seeing a shearing demonstration. There are also plenty of places to picnic and lots for the kids to explore.

Opening Hours

The Village is open every Sunday, public holiday mondays (except Anzac Day) and
Tuesday and Wednesday during school holidays from 10:00am to 4:00pm.
