Telopea Schools as Community Centres Project Supported Playgroup | Telopea @ Telopea Public School | Telopea | New South Wales | Australia

As part of Telopea Public School’s community offering, there are two supported playgroups. Families with children from birth to five years are welcome. You can attend weekly, during school term, on either Wednesday or Friday from 10:00am to 12:00pm.

Each session has a program developed by an early childhood professional, and includes structured activities, story time, music, and movement.

We welcome parental engagement and the playgroup is a very friendly and inclusive environment. Some recent playgroup activities include a Wormfarm Workshop, installation of a Community Centre Herb and Vegetable Garden, and cooking experiences with the produce from the garden.

We also offer individual and group art and craft activities. If you would like to attend, please call the school on (02) 9638 1296.

Note: families are asked to bring a piece of fruit to share for morning tea.
