A fun two-day festival set on the spectacular foreshore lawns of the Garden, celebrating the humble tomato with something for everyone – talks, tastings, produce stalls, degustation lunches, music, workshops, café, bar, stalls, guided walks, plant sales, children’s activities, vegetable mandala, competitions and more.

The Tomato Festival returns for its 5th year in 2018! There will be new activities to discover plus Festival favourites including the longest tomato lunch, taste test, plant sales, cooking demonstrations, gardening talks, Pizza Plants for kids, delicious food and drinks in the village, tomato mandala, an expanded range of local producers and competitions – the chilli sauce category is back by popular demand!

In 2016 chillies spiced up the Festival, in 2017 it was the fragrant and diverse world of herbs, in 2018 it will be the edible garden! Free and ticketed events.
