Apple picking season started Australia Day long weekend in Bilpin and continues until May/ June. Plus, the Bilpin Markets is on Saturday from 10am to 12pm.
There are different varieties of apples available to pick at different times and farms. Below is a summary of the main PYO farms in Bilpin:
- Shields Orchard – no entry fee, bookings required, open Friday to Sunday 10am to 3pm, apples you pick $3/kg
- TNT Produce – Entry is $2 per person (children under 5 free), $5/kg for apples you pick, open weekends and public holidays from 10am to 4pm, farm animals, cash only
- Bilpin Fruit Bowl (NO MORE APPLES) – Entry fee is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 3 to 15ys, open daily from 10am to 4pm. Apples you pick are $5/kg
- Pine Crest Orchard (NO MORE APPLES) – no entry fee, apples you pick $5/kg, open weekends and public holidays from 10am to 4pm
