Dining & CO is tucked in a residential part of North Ryde, where you wouldn’t necessarily expect to find a funky café, serving great food.
Both times we visited have been on a weekend and so it’s been pretty busy. In saying that, we didn’t have to wait long for a table. It’s a decent sized café, with an outdoor seating option so perfect for families and prams.
The menu has lots of variety and great options for breakfast. I’ve ordered the breakfast board on both occasions and have always been really happy with my choice (and full). It consists of slow cooked eggs, smoked salmon, prosciutto, halloumi, avocado, and beetroot relish are served alongside Brasserie Bread rye sourdough toast, what more could you ask for really?
I tend to stick to my skim latte for a caffeine hit – they serve Campos!. But I noticed that there is a red velvet latte, along with a few other creative coffee, juice and smoothie options on the menu, which seem popular.
Kids and families are well catered for, with plenty of high chairs available, a small toy corner and toilets on site. It did however surprise me to find there were no kids options on the breakfast menu. We ended up ordering sourdough and avocado off the extras menu for my daughter. She was happy enough given that the babycino comes with a marshmallow and there were toys to play with.
If you’re looking for a new breakfast spot that’s not too far from home, I would definitely recommend checking out Dining & CO. It is open 7am to 4pm daily.
