Multiple outdoor spaces across the Parramatta CBD will be transformed into buzzing entertainment venues when the Parramatta Nights event series kicks off on 25th March. Running until 18th April, there’ll be open-air cinema, outdoor roller-skating rink, carnival rides, food trucks, live music acts, entertainment and more!

This much anticipated event series was originally scheduled for January but had to be postponed due to COVID-19. And it’ll be the largest in-person event City of Parramatta Council has organised since the pandemic hit.

Parramatta Nights has something for everyone, including fun for kids while on school holidays, so make sure to book your tickets.

1Open Air Cinema | 1st to 18th April

Get ready for an open-air cinema experience in the heritage-listed Prince Alfred Square on Thursdays to Sundays.

Kick back and relax as the sun sets with new and classic films, plus there’s live music, food, drinks and roaming entertainment to be enjoyed throughout the night. And when family movies are showing, there’s free kids activities and entertainment before the movie.

Gates open at either 4pm or 5pm and the movie commences at 7-7:30pm (varies depending on the movie). Tickets are $11.64 per adult (14yrs+) and $9.01 per child (3-13yrs). Children under 3yrs are free, however you still need to purchase a free ticket for them. You must pre-book your tickets via Eventbrite.

And we recommend getting there not long after the gate opens to score yourself a beanbag and prime position!
