Ryde Wharf Markets | 2nd Sunday of the Month @ Ryde Wharf, Anderson Park
Jun 13 @ 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

After opening on 8th November 2020, Ryde Wharf Market is now on the 2nd Sunday of each month.  It’s grown into a beautiful community event on the banks of Parramatta River in just a few months and features 70 stalls offering fresh food and produce, hot global gourmet fare and everything for yourself and the home. You can shop for your weekly fruit and veggies, have a coffee and some cake, a hearty lunch and go home with your basket stocked with goodies for the week (and maybe a little something for yourself too).

Ryde Wharf Markets

Our top tip is to go early! Plus, catch the Rivercat to Meadowbank Wharf and walk or park your car further along the foreshore (like at Memorial Park, Meadowbank Park, Waterview St or at Kissing Point Park) and walk to the markets… there’s very little parking near the markets! But watch for the cyclists – we met a few frustrated/ angry ones while heading to last month’s market when we walked/ scootered from Meadowbank Park.

Memorial Park Meadowbank

Also, if the queues for food are long at the markets, you can head the Italian Street Kitchen (formerly Butcher and the Farmer) across the road and the kids can ran through the water fountain afterwards. 💦🙃 Or you can walk down to Meadowbank Wharf and go to Fork and Spoon Cafe.

There’s toilets and a playground at Anderson Park, plus a few other playgrounds nearby.
